ELIAS
Location: Washington
4 years old, Neutered Siberian Husky male, Grey/Tan with Blue eyes |
Elias is a 4-year-old Siberian husky. He is a shy young man, who will wag his tail and sniff you gently, but does not like to be approached. He came from a place in Alaska, where he was neglected and not allowed to learn that people were good. He is learning that here, and I have seen him come a long ways since his arrival. Elias is a loner, and he does play, but only on his own terms, so he would have to be introduced to any new dogs in a family first to see how he would do. He needs a quiet space to learn how to feel safe. His new owner would need to respect Elias’ own timeline of learning to trust his new environment. One day, he will be a comfortable family dog, but that will take time. He is easily frightened of quick movements and of new situations and people. Underneath all that fear, lies a beautiful dog soul, a friendly sort, who, one day, will be a great companion. Elias needs a calm living environment, with patient, loving, gentle owners who will give him the peace and quiet he needs to unwind and discover his true dogness.

SCARLETT (Courtesy Listing)
Location: Washington
4 years old, Spayed Siberian Husky female, Red/White with Blue Eyes |
Scarlett is posted as a courtesy listing and has
not been evaluated by SNO.
Scarlett is an active female siberian husky. She has blue eyes and is approx 4 yrs old. We would encourage her new owner to enroll in an obedience course with her. This will help you learn to trust each other, give you both great skills for everyday life and most of all "bond".

DYSON
Location: Washington
2 years old, Neutered Siberian Husky male, Black/White with Brown Eyes |
My fostermom is calling me Dyson, she keeps mumbling about me "shedding" all over. I'm in full coat blow at the moment, and nicer pictures of me will be posted after I see the groomer. I'm about 2 yrs old. I am easy going, love being petted and very attentive. I get along fine with other dogs, but those cats I'm not too sure about. I walk pretty well on a leash and know some basic commands. Fostermom says I should go to doggie school with my new owners, to teach sno_dogs_adoptionthem how to help me be the best companion!

ECHO
Location: Washington
2.5 years old, Spayed Siberian Husky female, Agouti with Brown Eyes |
Echo is a 2.5 year old spayed female. She is an unusual dark color with striking markings and penetrating deep brown eyes. She is well adjusted, self contained, seems to love people and does well with other dogs. Of course, she is a Siberian, so her owner needs to be the boss, and draw the boundaries. Echo’s movements are a dance, she is fast and light on her feet. I have not had her in harness yet, but will plan on that soon. Echo seems to be a well adjusted young female, who would do well in practically any home. Echo’s birthday is on Christmas, and we think she was dusted with soot as she came down the chimney with Santa Claus, which gave her this beautiful color and her wonderful personality.

ALLIE
Location: Washington
9 years young, Spayed Siberian Husky female, Grey/Black and white with Bi-Eyes |
Look at this sweet face! Allie is a very sweet and energetic 9 years, has one light blue eye and one light blue/brown mixed eye. She is healthy and happy, and up to date with all her vaccinations. She is good with other dogs of similar size. She likes to be around people, she's crate trained and good on a leash. She loves to play in water, and is enjoying the kiddy pool at her foster home. She has not lived inside for several years, but was housetrained at one time and she keeps her kennel spotless (indicating she has not forgotten her potty manners). Typical for her breed, she has an independent temperament and needs a very secure enclosure. Allie is microchipped and current on her vaccinations, and she is spayed. Allie is absolutElias the BEST dog. She is in foster care and sponsored by SNO (www.siberiansneedingowners.org).

Sula
Location: Washington - 5 years old, Spayed Siberian Husky mix female, Tan/Black and white with Bi-Eyes |
Sula seems to be a Mackenzie River Husky. She is around 5 years old. Sula came from Alaska, where she had been neglected. She arrived here, quite feral, not willing to trust anyone. She has come so far that she now kennels up easily, offers her paw, and is learning about using the dog door to come into the house. She has a long, wooly coat, deep brown eyes, and a playful nature. She likes other dogs and gets along with them. She is quite the smart young lady, and would do fine in any situation, as long as her forever home people were patient, loving, gentle, and allowed Sula to set the timeline for her progress. I think she would be fine with children, although initially their quick movements would startle her. Sula so wants to be a part of a family, knowing all the joy, love, treats, pets, and rides that being a family dog can bring. She is so smart, that I really think she could be trained to leave the cats alone, although that is very iffy with Siberians. Sula means bear in Hawaiian, and this big honey bear of a dog would love to be your forever pal. Sula and Elias would love to be adopted together. They have been friends for a long time, and are very comfortable with each other.
