ROMAN
Location: Oregon
Adult, neutered Siberian Husky,  Red/White, Blue Eyes

This golden boy is looking for a forever home to spend his golden years! Are you that home? Roman is an 8 year old red and white male Siberian husky, and is up to date on all of his shots, neutered, micro-chipped, and current on all preventative care. He is a sweet older gent who still has plenty of energy, but is happy to snooze at your feet all day, too!

Roman is fine with other dogs, both male and female, small and large. He is fine with adults and children, although a little shy at first, but he warms up quickly. Roman is crate trained and housebroken, and has very good house manners. Some of the things anyone interested in adopting Roman will need to know, though: he has a very, very high prey drive! So, this means Roman cannot be in a home with cats or other small, non-canine animals. This also means his new owner will not be able to leave him alone in the yard - he will get out in pursuit of small critters - he even tries to catch birds flying overhead! While he is getting better on the leash, if he sees or hears (or thinks he sees or hears, lol!) a small animal on a walk, he'll be at the end of his leash at 50mph, so HOLD ON! His foster family is working on his leash manners, but anyone interested in adopting him must be prepared to manage this aspect of his personality. He can never be off-leash nor ever be left unattended in the yard. Roman loves being inside, though, and so this should not be a problem!

The only other "need to know" about Roman is that he displayed food resource-guarding tendencies at the shelter. His foster home has been very careful about feeding him, but has NOT seen these behaviors from Roman. Despite that, it is important to know that he may, at times, guard his food bowl. This issue is easily dealt with, though, and should not be a problem. Roman is a beautiful, sweet, happy boy and would really love to find a wonderful home with other dogs where he can enjoy his golden years!

BUDDY
Location: Washington
Adult, neutered Siberian Husky,  Black/White, Blue Eyes

I am a long-haired (aka Woolly) Siberian Husky. Since I have long hair, I will need frequent brushing otherwise I become one large tangle! I am a big boy who is just a lover at heart. I weigh about 65 pounds, and get along ok with other dogs as long as they know that I'm the boss.. I love to sit and lean against my foster parents legs and get pets. I am energetic, but have no problem hanging out in the house beside my foster parents just vegging. I am crate and kennel trained, house-trained, and know basic commands (when I want to!). I am current on all of my shots and micro-chipped.

HARVEY
Location: Washington
Adult, neutered Siberian Husky,  Red/White, Blue Eyes

Harvey is 14 months old, neutered, microchipped, all shots are up to date, crate trained, and he is a healthy boy. He needs a home that will give him more attention, training, and exercise than his present one is able to do. He is good with other dogs his size. No cats, please. Too boistrous for toddlers. He will dig, counter surf, and chew things up if he has too much time on his paws. Needs a more active life-style!  Larger photo.

ZUDNIK
Location: Washington
3.5 yrs old, neutered Siberian Husky, White, Blue Eyes

Zudnik is 3 and a 1/2 yrs old, very sweet, active, handsome. He has been though obedience school, is UTD with shots, chipped, neutered. He is blond with two blue eyes. He has always lived with his sister Tashi, and we' d like to find them a home together, but they may do just fine separated, as long as the home has another playful dog close in size. (We will not place him as an "only" dog.) No small animals, please...no cats, bunnies, birdies, or small yappatizer type dogs. Zudnik (I call him Zudie) is named after an avalanche dog in a Warren Miller ski film--it's a great "Russian" name!

TASHI
Location: Washington
3.5 yrs old, spayed Siberian Husky, White, Bi-Eyes

Tashi is 3 and a 1/2 yrs old, very sweet, active, pretty. She has been though obedience school, is UTD with shots, chipped, spayed. She is blond with one blue eye and one brown eye, a perfectly normal occurance in siberian huskies. She has always lived with her brother Zudnik, and we' d like to find them a home together, but they may do just fine separated as long as the home has another playful dog close in size. (We will not place her as an "only" dog.) No small animals, please...no cats, bunnies, birdies, or small yappatizer type dogs.

REX
Location: Campbell, California
1.5 -2 yr old, neutered Siberian Husky, Long Coated, Grey/White, Blue Eyes

Rex is a sweet and affectionate young dog with high intelligence and striking good looks. Very  athletic, good companion, good on a leash and meets other dogs well but can be competitive in a living situation. Best paired up with a female northern breed of similar size. Rex is calm and prefers being with people. He is not yet crate trained. Rex did come to rescue due to his escape artist abilities so he will need a good fence and would be best with a companion dog of equal size and interests.

AYVA
Location: Washington
5 year old, spayed Siberian Husky, White, Brown Eyes

Ayva is a wonderful girl, who likes things to go her way. In other words, she has a stubborn streak that is easily overcome with love and attention. Ayva would love to be in a house with NO kids, and preferable no other dogs, as it's all about her! Ayva is crate trained, knows how to sit and shake hands on command, and comes when called. Ayva would do best in a home with no other small animals due to her small prey instinct.

TIGUE
Location: Washington
3 year old, neutered Siberian Husky, Black/White, Brown Eyes

Hi! My name is Tigue! (rhymes with intrigue). I am a 3 year old Siberian Black Beauty. I have brown eyes and weigh about 45 lbs. My foster home is feeding me good so that weight is on the rise. I really like to play with my foster friends, and have fun playing with my foster parents too. They think I'm pretty good on a leash...and I even sit on command and I will do more tricks if you have a treat in hand! I would do good in a home with another dog, or even by myself, if my new parents would keep me by their side most of the time. I am crate-trained, but prefer being out with my human owners.
